Getting Worst But Still Fighting

It's been a month now since my last post. Haay.. For just a month a lot of things happened to me As in super ang daming nangyari both good and bad experiences. Maybe I'm exagerating but that's how I think about it. I also feel bad bacause as much as I want to post everything happened to me here, I can't because I don't even have time to go to the nearest internet cafe in Gensan plus im having a difficulty in budgeting my money. So sad...

Anyways, here are some unforgetable happenings in my life for the past month:
1. I celebrated my 21st birthday last July 2. Marcie, Lot2 and Sammy surprised me a dinnee. I was not really expecting they would do that but they made my birthday a memorable one. I also thank those who greeted me through cards, texts, and e-mails. Thanks to all of you!

2. After my birthday, one of my pupils had a cut in his head because he was pushed by a classmate. This happened when they were waiting for their next teacher. I feel bad because in a way I also has a fault because I failed in desciplining them.

3. Last Sunday I, together with Marcie and Sammy, attended a church service in one of the Baptist Churches in Gensan. I didn't planned it. I was just invited by Sammy who was also invited by a Pastor in their school. After the service they asked us if we want to have this "soul winning". This is their term used if we want to find and accept God in our hearts. They welcomed us there and they want us to join their service every Sunday. I really want to because it's another way to be closer to God but I don't know if I could come every Sunday because of so much things to do every weekend. I hope eventhough I could not join, I can still find time to feed my spiritual soul.

4 Stressed every schooldays. Huhu.. I am teaching pupils and students who lack attention. Everyday they are getting worst. Maybe, their parent's are also the reasons why many of my pupils are misbehaving in my class. I need extra energy and super extra patience in disciplining them.

5. Lola was in the hospital for five days due to lung probems. We are really broke at this time. I want to help Auntie Inday who is shouldering all the finances in the house but my salary is just enough for me and Lot2. This is a trial in the family but I know praying can help us all. We will fight and hope and pray that Lola will also fight. I can say this because I would always here words coming from her that she will die soon. This thing is one of my greatest fear ever.

Oh.. It's time to go back to my workplace. If only I have choice I won't go back again their. Im tired and sick of my routines but life is full of chalenges and trials. Whether I like it or not I should fight not only for me but for my loved ones. Sacrificing is sweet if this for the people I love.

Something to ponder:
"The really successful professional man is not he that reaps greatest monetary rewards but he who secures the greatest satisfaction in the work he is interested in. These are rewards that are not measured in terms of money." - Maximo H. Kalaw (I hope I can find this saisfaction soon.)

God Bless!

My First Salary

Waah! The days seem to move faster. Iv'e been teaching now for almost two weeks and I already received my first salary yesterday. I really have to tap my shoulders for this. I was very happy because at last im already earning my own money.

My pay wasn't not that big. I think it's just enough for me and my cousin's allownces and other needs. If I'l just count every long hours of working in the school and my sleepless nights, maybe, I can say that my pay was too small. But I realized that the salary is not the most important thing. I entered in a world that my work is not just a work but a vocation. If I will be counting everything I do and compare it with how much I receive evry 15th and 30th of the month, i will never be happy and end up getting frustrated.

I still have a lot of things and experiences to tell but this is not the right time to do this. One thing I leaned from being in a boarding house and away from home is to manage my time correctly.

Until next time!

Godbless!
